Do I have to wear an Apple Watch to play PulseBurst?

Yes. In order to play the game or exercise control over your heart rate, you need an Apple Watch. Otherwise, you can only join group games as a spectator to watch your friends play.

How is my game score calculated for each match?

Game Score is calculated as: mean round time (7 rounds) multiplied by 10, then divided by n. The value of n is a power function of your Heart Rate Range (HRR) during the match—the bigger your HRR, the bigger n. The lower your score, the higher your rank.

What’s the cap of players and spectators for a group game?

A group game supports up to 6 players and 3 spectators, with a minimum of 2 players. Spectators don’t need to wear an Apple Watch to join a game.

Is there a world rank list for all players in terms of solo and group game?

We don’t have a worldwide rank list for now, but we are planning to add that feature in the near future.

Will there be new games added to PulseBurst in the future after my purchase? Will that be free?

We plan to add new games to PulseBurst with similar dynamics related to heart rate or other readings, but the timeline is to be determined, depending on the ideas we come up with. Once new games are added, they will be free for all purchasers. PulseBurst is a one-time purchase app with no subscription fees.
